Today’s activities focus on the Bushmen and Blacksmith traditions. To begin with, we will meet the Hadzabe Tribe, who live in small groups and survive by hunting with bows and arrows, as well as gathering roots, tubers, and wild fruits very similar to how humankind lived during the Stone Age. During this visit, we will gain an in-depth understanding of how they continue to adapt to their harsh environment and the challenges of maintaining a nomadic existence. Furthermore, in 10 Days Tanzania Wildlife & Cultural Explorer the Hadzabe have close ties with the Datoga tribe, who are skilled blacksmiths that have perfected their trade over centuries. Even today, they continue to practice it in the same traditional way, crafting arrowheads for the Hadzabe and creating brass trinkets, some of which will be available for purchase directly from the maker.

After lunch, we will continue in our 10 Days Tanzania Wildlife & Cultural Explorer onwards and embark on a scenic game drive through the park as we make our way to the lodge for the evening.
