6 Days Safari Southern Circuit

6-Day Southern Circuit Safari, combines two national parks in the Southern Circuit; Mikumi National Park and Ruaha National Park. Southern Circuit is still unspoilt Safari in Tanzania with more lions ever seen.

This trip will take you over Mikumi National Park which borders with Selous forming a huge eco system. This park is well known for its large of buffalo and also known as ‘’little Serengeti’’

After Mikumi National Parks we are heading to Ruaha national park which is situated in Iringa. This park protects vast tract of the rugged, semi-arid bush country that characterizes central Tanzania. The lifeblood of this park is the great Ruaha River which is the helpful to the animals during the dry season. Ruaha National Park is truly magnificent!!

Day 1: JK Nyerere Airport – Dar es Salaam City

In your 6 Days Safari in Tanzania, You will Meet and greet by our smiling professional tour/driver guide at Dar es Salaam International airport who will transfer to your hotel for overnight just for relaxation after a long journey on air.

Accommodation: Southern Sun or Similar

Day 2: Dar es Salaam – Mikumi NP

After breakfast we drive to Mikumi National Park. Game drive will be during afternoon if time allows us. Mikumi is very famous for its large herds of elephants as well-known as little Serengeti. With this park you can easily see lions and huge baobab trees. Overnight at Lodge

Accommodation: Stanley African Foxes or Similar

Day 3: Mikumi NP – Ruaha NP

During this day we have morning game drive then afterward drive through the mountains to Ruaha National Park. On our way we can stop at a small village to see their ways of life under the baobab tree. (But this is option) Overnight at Lodge

Accommodation: Ruaha River Lodge or Similar

Day 4: Ruaha National Park

After our breakfast we have full day game drive at Ruaha with our picknick lunch box. Ruaha has gorgeous scenery and abundant wildlife which includes giraffe, elephants, sable antelope, elend, wild dogs, cheetah, large prides of lions and kudu. Overnight at Lodge

Accommodation: Ruaha River Lodge or Similar

Day 5: Ruaha – Mikumi NP

 After breakfast drive back to Mikumi National for your overnight at Lodge. (Optional activities seen the local people)

Accommodation: Mbuyuni Farm Hotel or Similar

Day 6: Mikumi Ntional Park – Dar es Salaam

After breakfast we have morning game drive if time allows then drive to Dar es Salaam. At Dar es Salaam we can do shopping or city tour as a optional activities, then transfer to JK Nyerere Airport to connect with your flight back home or Zanzibar.
