If time allows, you can enjoy a short evening activity around your accommodation.

Day 2: Murchison Falls Wildlife Safari

Start the morning with an early game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. The savannah provides opportunities to search for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and other wildlife.

Later, enjoy a boat safari on the Victoria Nile. The river attracts hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and many bird species.

You can also visit the famous Murchison Falls, where the Nile passes through a narrow gorge.

Overnight: Murchison Falls area.

Day 3: Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, leave Murchison Falls and continue toward Kibale National Park.

This is one of the longer travel days, but the journey offers a chance to see Uganda’s countryside and changing scenery. As you approach Kibale, the landscape becomes greener and more forested.

After arrival, check into your lodge and relax in preparation for chimpanzee trekking.

Overnight: Kibale area.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale

Today focuses on one of Uganda’s most exciting primate experiences: chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park.

After a briefing, enter the rainforest with experienced guides and search for chimpanzee communities. The forest also supports several other primates and a wide variety of bird species.

After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. If you still have time and energy, you can explore the surrounding area.

Overnight: Kibale area.

Day 5: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, travel toward Queen Elizabeth National Park.

The journey takes you from the rainforest environment of Kibale toward the open savannah landscapes of Queen Elizabeth. After arriving, settle into your lodge and enjoy lunch.

Later, take an afternoon game drive if time permits. You may encounter elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, and other wildlife.

Overnight: Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Begin the day with an early game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park. The morning provides excellent opportunities to explore the savannah and search for wildlife.

Later, enjoy a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. Hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous birds can often be seen around the water.

After the boat trip, return to your lodge and enjoy a relaxed evening.

Overnight: Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi

After breakfast, leave Queen Elizabeth and continue toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

The journey takes you through southwestern Uganda, where the landscape gradually changes from savannah to green hills and forested mountains.

After reaching the Bwindi area, check into your lodge and relax. Prepare your walking gear for the following day’s gorilla trek.

Overnight: Bwindi area.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Today is one of the major highlights of your 10 Days Uganda Safari. After an early breakfast, head to the gorilla trekking briefing point.

With experienced guides and trackers, enter the forest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek can take several hours, depending on the location of the gorillas.

Once you find the group, spend your permitted viewing time observing their behavior before returning through the forest.

After the trek, return to your lodge and enjoy a well-earned rest.

Overnight: Bwindi area.

Day 9: Bwindi Forest and Cultural Experience

After several days of safari activities, use this day to enjoy Bwindi at a more relaxed pace.

You can choose a forest nature walk, community experience, cultural visit, or simply enjoy the surroundings of your lodge. A community experience can provide an opportunity to learn about local traditions, crafts, food, and everyday life.

This flexible day also gives you time to rest after the gorilla trek.

Overnight: Bwindi area.

Day 10: Bwindi to Kampala or Entebbe

After breakfast, begin your journey back toward Kampala or Entebbe.

The drive provides a final opportunity to enjoy Uganda’s beautiful countryside. Depending on your departure time, you can make selected stops along the way.
